Press Report and Book Signing

The Curious Tale of a French Salesman is receiving some useful local publicity.

The Mid Devon Advertiser, the local weekly newspaper, which is read by many people in Newton Abbot and throughout the district of Teignbridge, included a very nice and informative article about my novel in this week's edition. They are helpful in supporting local writers, whether of local history or more general literature.

I also appreciate the help and support from Westcountry Books of Queen Street Newton Abbot. This is an independent bookshop, specializing in literature of all kinds relating to the West Country, but also with a wide range of more general literature. They support several local authors including myself, keeping their books in stock and giving them publicity.

The shop has many loyal customers, who appreciate the wide knowledge of the proprietor regarding books of all kinds.

On Saturday 14th October, I will be at the shop for a "Meet the author and book signing session". Newton Abbot can be very busy on a Saturday depending on the weather. I am hoping to meet many readers and talk to them about my first book and the others which are to follow.
